Hey friend,

This week, our members were sharing wins inside my coaching programme eComm Rockets, and I had one of those moments where I thought… this is exactly why I love doing this.

There is something amazing about having a small group of founders who genuinely know each other’s businesses, celebrate each other’s wins, share what’s working, and help each other through the inevitable moments when eCommerce feels bloody hard.

And there have been some brilliant wins lately.

Ahmad had one of my favourites. After an incredibly difficult year for his gelato business, including disruption from war, losing staff and missing the crucial Ramadan trading period, he finally launched his new gelato menu.

He built a waitlist, used DM automation, collaborated with a very well-matched micro-influencer, then staggered the launch through a private sale, his email database and finally ads.

He did the previous MONTH’S revenue in 10 days.

And one of the biggest lessons? Newness works. Giving people something genuinely exciting to talk about and come back for was incredibly powerful.

Then there's Taylor, who has been doing some brilliant customer research for her skincare and supplement brand.

We identified a really strong customer persona around menopause and perimenopause, then started getting much more specific about speaking to that customer.

She recently relaunched her bestselling wash alongside a new sensitive-care version.

Sales jumped 40%, and she hit her $30k 30-day revenue goal.

What I love about this one is that it wasn't some clever Ads Manager hack. It came from doing the boring-but-important work of understanding who is buying and why and then building the marketing around them.

Katy's jewellery brand finished July $15k ABOVE target, driven largely by becoming more consistent with content and moving towards smaller, more frequent new-design releases rather than waiting for big launches.

Again, simple strategy. Executed consistently.

And not every win is about growing revenue.

Harriet has been deliberately moving her knitwear brand away from discounting while refreshing the brand and pushing harder into Australia.

Revenue was actually down slightly. But that is not the whole story.

Margin increased 99%. I'll take that kind of "decline" any day 😂

Then there's Sarah, whose ceramics brand grew its NZ sale by 30% year on year.

Europe only grew 5%, which has opened up a really useful conversation about why. VAT appearing at checkout, variable shipping costs and lower brand awareness are all creating friction, so rather than blindly spending more, she's narrowing the focus to Germany and the Netherlands and figuring out what needs fixing first.

And this is perhaps what I love most about eComm Rockets.

A win doesn't always mean ROAS went up this week.

Sometimes it's record revenue, sometimes it's dramatically better margins, sometimes it's finally understanding why a market isn't growing.

I get ridiculously excited when one of my Rockets posts a win in the group because I've usually seen everything that happened before it.

The questions. The uncertainty. The testing. The thing that flopped. The slightly panicked message asking, "Should I change this?!"

And then the system clicks.

That's also why I've deliberately kept eComm Rockets a small, supportive coaching group, rather than turning it into a giant course where you watch 47 videos and are left to figure the rest out yourself.

You learn the playbook, yes.

But you also have me and 3 other expert coaches there to help you apply it to your business, and a group of other eComm founders alongside you who are doing exactly the same thing.

And I think that makes a huge difference.

If you've been trying to figure all of this out on your own, maybe you don't need another agency, another freelancer or another YouTube rabbit hole. Maybe you just need the right people in your corner.

If you'd like to find out whether eComm Rockets could be that for you, reply to this email with “ROCKETS” and I'll send you the details and we can book a call.
