Hey {{ First Name | Founder }}

Just popping in to say Merry Christmas and to wish you a really well-earned break.

Before the year fully wraps up, I wanted to share a few thoughts for the quiet moments over the holidays — the kind you get when the laptop is closed and the noise dies down a bit.

This year has been a wild one in ecomm, and 2026 is not set to be much different!

If you get a chance over the break, a few reflections I always find useful:

  • What actually moved the needle this year?

  • What did you spend time on that felt productive, but wasn’t?

  • What would happen if you doubled down on fewer things in 2026?

For me, it’s time to step properly away for a bit.

I’m heading off in our off-road campervan, down to the deep south of New Zealand.
Twelve days of open road, big skies, surf, mountain bike trails — and not much internet connection at all.

Here’s me packing ALLLLL the 92% dark chocolate I need for the journey.

Before I head off - I thought I’d quickly share what’s been going on in my new agency.

It’s been three months since launching officially, and we’ve been deliberately slow and intentional — adding just one client per month. And honestly? I’m loving how things are rolling so far.

Our first client is already up 33% year-on-year.
And yes — that’s real Shopify revenue, not Ads Manager numbers.

There’s no single silver bullet driving that growth. It’s the whole system done well, consistently:

  • Creative testing that actually pushes boundaries

  • The right Meta setup so the algorithm can do its thing

  • A deep understanding of the customer — not just who they are, but why they buy

  • A genuine partnership with the client that lets us move fast and try bold ideas

I’m really excited about where we can take things with our other new clients next year.

This chapter feels very different to my first agency.
It feels like flying a plane I’ve already built once before — rather than trying to assemble it mid-air.

Anyway, that’s enough shop talk for now.

I hope you get some proper rest, good food, fresh air, and a bit of perspective over the break.
Here’s to celebrating the wins of 2025 — and heading into 2026 with clarity and confidence.

Merry Christmas,
Jessie
