Hey {{ First Name | Founder }},
Open your Meta Ads Manager right now.
I'm serious. Do it while you read this.
Here's a quick checklist. If you tick more than two of these boxes, your media buyer is running a 2020 playbook in a 2026 world and it's costing you.
☐ Your campaigns are structured TOF / MOF / BOF.
Meta's algorithm doesn't need you to manually recreate the funnel. This structure fragments your data and starves campaigns of the signal they need to optimise. Consolidate.
☐ You have multiple ad sets split by interest targeting.
Interests are almost a ghost signal now. Meta's algorithm reads your creative, your pixel data, and your conversion history. Five interest ad sets isn't "control" - it's just wasted budget.
☐ You're running lookalike audiences as your main prospecting strategy.
Lookalikes haven't been the power move since iOS14. Broad audience + strong creative is now consistently outperforming them.
☐ Your creative is being "tested" with tiny budgets in isolation.
Creative testing needs enough spend to generate signal. Micro-budgets produce micro-data. You can't make decisions from it.
☐ Nobody is talking about creative strategy in your weekly calls.
In 2026, creative is your targeting. If your agency isn't leading on this, what exactly are you paying for?
How many did you tick?
If it's more than two, we should talk.
x
Jessie
